Joe's Kids Irish Wake
The Joseph Mark Foley Children’s Charities Foundation, aka Joe’s Kids, along with the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Tir na n’Og, Division 1, Lehigh County, in honoring 25 years of keeping Joe’s memory alive, will present the Joe’s Kids Irish Wake. Joe Foley was a founding member of our Division and the first coordinator for Project Children in the Lehigh Valley. The wake will be a celebration of Joe’s life and all the things Joe loved, with two Irish bands, The Rogue Diplomats and Blackwater, along with the O'Grady-Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance, Pipes and Drums from the MacKay and Celtic United Pipe Bands, as well as Gaelic Football and Hurling. And in true Irish Wake fashion, there'll be plenty of stories about Joe, shared by his family and friends. And of course, we can’t forget Joe’s favorite drink, Guinness. There will also be food trucks available throughout the day.
